Unfortunatelly, on old mac models (~2010 and older) the game causes random OpenGL crashes for unknown reason. Due to these systems being quite outdated and bellow minimal requirements, we won't be trying to workaround these crashes.

My recomendation is to reboot the computer before starting the game to free up as much RAM and VRAM as possible.

Thanks - I will give that a shot. I have also tried closing and restarting steam as well. It seems to help sometimes.

Maybe you could try to disable Steam overlay.
