Hi,
A bit of an edge case, but I have a mouse that can be both wireless and wired and if I switch the mouse between these modes (for example to start charging the mouse) the game will instantly freeze.
Sometimes the game will recover after about 10-15 seconds, sometimes it will never recover... On a rare occasion it will run at about 1 frame every 3-5 seconds and eventually I'll get kicked for my game not being able to keep up with the server at which point the menu is usually responsive once I have returned to it.
I checked the factoro-latest.log and no events are written to the file during it's freeze or after.
Note:
I am able to replicate the issue just by simply plugging a second mouse into the pc as well as unplugging it.
[2.0.13] Mouse being (re/un)plugged causes game to freeze

Re: [2.0.13] Mouse being (re/un)plugged causes game to freeze
Thanks for the report.
I couldn't reproduce it on Windows 10 desktop using wired mouse nor Windows 11 laptop using wired mouse (I think problem with reproduction on laptop is that trackpad is always connected).
Does it still happen in Factorio 2.0.23? We have updated library we use for handling input (SDL) in version 2.0.16, so maybe that fixed it.
If it's still happening, does the mouse have any proprietary software? Do you have gamepad/game controller connected to your PC?
Can you use a profiler to capture data for us to analyze? See viewtopic.php?p=501968#p501968
