The artillery (specially the waggons) needs a lot of time to "find" enemies.
There are biter nests in range and some get shot, some not, some get shot after I "reveal" them with Artillery targeting remote.
[1.1.27] Artillery takes long to fire

Post a save that shows the issue.

Sry but how?
Re: [1.1.27] Artillery takes long to fire
You can find the file in your saves folder (https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?tit ... _directory) and upload it to google drive, Dropbox, or similar.
Are you aware that artillery has 2 ranges: a smaller automatic firing range and a larger manual-only firing range.

Yes I'm aware of the 2 ranges. :=)
Re: [1.1.27] Artillery takes long to fire
I assume you're talking about this place?
If so; the reason it isn't firing at the nests on the outer edges is because they don't exist yet. Until something forces those chunks to be generated - just like the rest of the map - they don't exist. When I tell the game to "reveal all generated but uncharted chunks" you can see the actual area that is currently generated:If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
