I had a passive provider chest that was holding a bunch of my high quality items, an inserter feeding it from my "lucky assembler" to make personal equipment. Been sitting there for 50 hours. Had maybe 20 different quality items, a few of each.
I hooked up a green wire to the chest and assembler, to make a limited quantity of solar panels. Chest was defaulted on "read contents" and assembler only set to "read ingredients". Right after, a bunch of logistics bots came and took the items away. And they disappeared off the face of the planet.
They're not in my inventory, they're not in the logistics network if I request any of them back. I use the Factory Search mod and it can't find any of them. I haven't automated any other requesters or assembly or anything with quality, like a couple of these were rare fusion reactors I was just gearing up to make my first spidertron, there is nowhere requesting any of these things. It's like my passive chest suddenly got turned into an active provider, and they got stored into another dimension. There aren't any settings that should even cause things to get carried out of this chest, much less delete them. I went back to an autosave and they're sitting there, so I know exactly what was in that chest, but it's making me lose my mind where they could have gone. Reconnecting the same wire in the autosave doesn't reproduce the problem.
