When I draw long bus lines, underground belts appear in the middle of the line without any obvious reason sometimes. There are no obstacles. And it's not an out-of-range issue that was solved in 1.1.11 since I get it mostly in the editor or sandbox mode.
In practice it happens quite rarely (mouse sensor glitches or system lags?), but I found a way to reproduce it almost every time:
1) Zoom out as far as possible
2) Start drawing a straight belt to the right
3) Move mouse some tiles to the left
4) Quickly throw mouse to the right
Actual: unexpected underground belt appears
Expected: normal belts are placed instead
Edit: screenshot:
Long gap on the middle belt may be related to the autosave that happened during drawing.

It may not be a bug. Maybe when you threw the mouse it bumped the keyboard or monitor and some buttons were presses.
Take good care of your mouse and it will take care of you

Re: [1.1.11] Drag placing adds unexpected undergrounds without any obstacles
This is probably related to other out of reach bug that I fixed for 1.1.12, so I consider this to be fixed until proven otherwise.
Re: [kovarex] [1.1.11] Drag placing adds unexpected undergrounds without any obstacles
Still reproducible in 1.1.12, unfortunately. Here is a video:
When smart drag is off, belts are placed normally, without any gaps.

That does not look like .12 behavior. If you are sure you have updated make a new and complete report please.

I also can't reproduce.
