Hi
After patching to the latest experimental biter attacks on my factory has decreased by a lot. I'm not sure whats causing it, just that its happening.
My factory is not standing still, if anything its producing more pollution than ever.
I've attached the log, and here's a link to the save:

I have the same problem with my vanilla game. I have only non-game changing Bootleneck, Vehicle Snap and Bullet Trails mods installed.
Biters hardly ever attack my base. Here is statistics:

same think happen to me . yesterday i bomb the biter nest . normaly they attact imiditly but they dont now. interesting.

I have seen a similar (possibly different bug) I think it has been there long before 0.17.49 but the update in 17.49 makes it much more obvious.
The behavior I have observed is as follows:
In a megabase with biters enabled (not peaceful) we had a large number of nests only a few chunks from the factory absorbing huge amounts of pollution (20k / minute) and creating large attack groups that never attack in virtually all directions. Many of the turrets nearest these nests have 0 kills and none of them have more than 100.
Turning on show-paths I could see the biters pathing to join to their gather points but very rarely actually attacking and when they did attack it was in small numbers.
It looks to me that the pathfinder is limiting the number of path finding requests per tick (for good reasons) and its prioritizing path finding of new biters to gather points over biters pathing to attack. Furthermore I am guessing that the biters eventually time out and despawn as the groups dont actually seem to grow.
Unfortunately I dont have a save to hand because I saw it on a public server and the game has moved on. But if this is an unknown bug I can look out for it and a grab a save if it happens again (that I expect it will)
