[16.0][Win7] - Unusual colors when starting the game

Post by bryangrossman »

Once I start a new game and the map loads I get some very unusual colors... https://s18.postimg.org/3ybp83ocn/factoriocolors.jpg I restarted my system and reinstalled the game but no change... My drivers are the latest. No errors are reported when the game starts. I couldn't find another bug report relevant to this...

Hi, can you try to open Factorio properties in Steam Library and set launch options to following?

Code: Select all

--force-d3d
. Your Intel graphics driver doesn't seem to like our OpenGL shaders.

Actually, I found bug in error checking of loading GLSL shaders. When we ask for errors we expect empty response, but this particular driver returns "No errors."
So that is fixed for 0.16.1
