[Rseding91] [2.0.20] Items sent to space platform manually disappeared because the hub had no space

Post by Meehael »

I've sent 1000 Metallurgic science packs (5 stacks) from Vulcanus to the space platform orbiting it in one cargo pod and all of them, except one stack (200) disappeared.
It turned out that the Space Hub was full and couldn't accept any new items.
I didn't receive any notification about that, however.
When I opened the space platform map, I've noticed hundreds of metallurgic space packs dropped on the floor around space hub, marked for deconstruction.
I've quickly made some room in the hub, and one stack was transferred, but all the others disappeared.

Thanks

Hi,

here's the link to the savegame: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gdqiX- ... sp=sharing

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the Rocket Silo on Vulcanus
2. Click on Deliver Cargo
3. Choose Space Platform "Mihina platforma"
4. Open the space platform in Remote View
5. Watch as Cargo Pod arrives to the space platform and a thousand of science packs drop around the Space Hub, get marked for deletion and immediately get deleted and disappear

Thanks!

I've made 2 changes for 2.0.23:

* Items on the ground never get deleted when the hub tries to deconstruct them.
* Clicking launch-to-platform will fail if the hub was not going to have enough room.

It's still possible that between launching and the rocket arriving it fills, but it's better than nothing.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

How about adding an option to overload the space platform, for rare cases when the rocket has already been launched, but there are not enough rooms?

Similar to cloud storage, you had 100 GB free, and you filled it up and made it 90/100, and then the owners reduced the maximum amount to 10 GB free, and now in your personal account it looks like 90/10 with a huge red mark. I can no longer upload anything new to the cloud, but I can download or delete everything that is there at any time.

Following this example, I suggest adding an option to force the number of rooms in the hub to increase if the rocket or rockets have already been launched to the station. You've already done a good job of failing to launch new ones.

P.S. There is an even cooler option: if the rocket arrived and landed on the space platform, but there are no rooms for unloading, then the game system automatically sends it back to the planet, with a corresponding notification to the player. The same thing happens with parcels at the post office, which for one reason or another are not picked up.
I love you all.
