Re: Friday Facts #211 - The little things

this will be great as I have had to stop and think about where stuff is going looking at blueprints and ghosts but now side loading vs a turn will look different and that's great!

Re: Locomotive/train Map View change

not quite the idea I had.

I am more asking that the window that is a map on the right of the locomotive screen act like the main map (except for locking to the locomotive) so you can zoom down to actual view if there already is radar coverage

Locomotive/train Map View change

can you make the train map view zoom like the regular map does? IE when you click on a train and can see it on the map on the right you can mouse wheel like you can with the regular map and have it go down to seeing the train in question. it should still be locked to the train and go fuzzy if you do...

Re: Friday Facts #180 - Map interaction

I vote for the map zoom to regular view like with Supreme Commander and other such RTS type games but not sure how that will work with i can only effect things i can see that i love about Factorio.

Keep up the good work and I'll add that i cant wait to see all of this in 0.15 myself!

Re: Friday Facts #156 - Massive Multiplayer

Optionally a third button could be provided for built-in blueprints such as ones provided by mods. You could have all of the blueprints mixed together at first but have filter buttons at the top to filter the list by ones from a specific mod. You can't copy blueprints to here or remove them, only c...

Re: [MOD 0.13] Warehousing v0.0.10

small question
why not use iron chests for larger warehouse recipe?
that way the smaller building (and storage) use the smaller chest?

just my two cents

Re: Friday Facts #129 - The late game

My way for resources - endless-resources mod, make the ore infinite, just like oil - weaker over time. You still have to expand and make new outposts, but there is no need to destroy old ones. I cant play without it anymore coz of depleted mines. what about combining ideas? the new mine would produ...

Re: Friday Facts #128 - Back down to earth

I think the loader can be a great addition if done correctly, or very frustrating if done incorrectly. The main issue is probably it being "overpowered", so it takes over everything. I think if it can take out of any chest and put into any chest it may (not sure) be overpowered. If it can...

Re: Friday Facts #103 - Prototyping ahead

I would really like to see a 'bunker' style turret for the late game defense. It does not matter what it it's armed with, it just needs tons of HP to survive the end game waves long enough for laser turrets to clear them out. Maybe even an option for slow self repair in form of putting repair packs...

Re: Cargo wagons need more slots

Yup, I also think most containers have way too much storage. What I think is pretty reasonable: Wood chest - 4 slots. Iron chest - 8 slots Steel/Smart/Logistic chest - 10 slots. Cargo wagon - 20-30 slots. Car/Tank - 20-30 slots. Player inventory - 30 slots. Plus, maybe allow some bigger storage fac...
