If you already loaded your save in 2.0 the biggest change has already happened - your rail curves changed. Old ones continue to exist but I don’t think you can build them anymore.
If you then enable space age, some tech will move around. There are rumors that it would delete some items you ...

Re: Quality Gating is flawed
Quality actually feels quite nice so far for me - I can dabble in it and get some serious rewards (quality even to uncommon and rare of certain things is really nice - armor and equipment, spacecraft components (not platform!), accumulators and solar panels, power poles).

Re: Train's CTRL-click Temporary Stop behavior [passed -> inactive]
This could be handled by interrupts.
Make it so if you name an interrupt “Temporary Stop” it calls that interrupt when arriving at a temporary stop.
Then you program the interrupt how you’d like.

Gleba is hard because it punishes the thing everyone has done since time immemorial in Factorio - let belts backup by overproduction.

Re: Looking At Achievement Percentages...
As can be seen by the steam (lol) achievement on steam only 20% or so have played much of anything (unmodded) which is actually pretty high for a steam game - many people buy games aspirationally or with the intent to play but don’t get around to it.

I optimize by building the next one better.
I won’t replace my iron factories with the new Vulcanus machines but by NEW iron expansion certainly is using them.
Eventually I remember the dead ore patches and deconstruct them.

Re: Do you care about infrastructure costs? Does it matter?
Death world is the only one that it really matters on, and then only early game as you need to minimize pollution so you don’t get overwhelmed. Most death worlds that die die in a loop of “mining to make the weapons/ammo results in more attacks than the weapons/ammo can deal with”.

Re: How come rail supports can be on oil ocean, but nothing else?
My only annoyance is that I have two islands close enough that I can connect them with a single logistic network (barely) but it makes a U shape and bots die outside the lightning protection.
So it would be nice to be able to (research) oil pylons for the lightning rods only.
But I get what the ...

Re: [2.0.19] Performance Degradation when looking at 15K+ spaceship inventory
My rough calculation is there are about 300 items, times 5 quality levels, so around 1500 - so maybe after 2048 slots in a chest it should switch to Logistics style - where it shows one item per "virtual slot" and tells you how many total slots you have.

Don’t build a new ship piecemeal - or if you must have a blueprint that is basically platform and walls around the ship while it loads/builds.

I have a similar issue - I have not received any tips & tricks after the quality ones; I've reached volcanus from YouTube tutorials but haven't a thing in the tips.
As far as I know I didn't skip anything. I also don't know how I could manually "trigger" them to appear

Re: It takes too long to get to new Space Age content
The biggest things I see as “easier” are the quality weapons that - if you focus on them when you can (a few miners with quality mods and a splitter to sort are all you really need) you become quite powerful early game.
Biters shouldn’t be an issue at all.

You can review a "QoL changes" YouTube video for the biggest ones, but that will really be between 1.1 and 2.0.

Re: WUBE please fix pump to tanker load on curves
An ugly solution is use a pusher locomotive so that you don’t waste straight rail on the locomotive.
A cleaner solution would be to allow the station signal to be on the first part of the curve.
