Waste\weaponizing
TL;DR Using different forms of industrial waste as a weapon and\or seriously raising difficulty levels Making more waste intentionally What ? I have read this topic https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=21278 and haven`t found general idea of using complete opposite of "being cl...

Stupid questions to devs
Hi guys. I can`t see such topic on the 1st page, and don`t want to resurrect zombie-threads.
So my stupid question is:
what`s with new weapons and armed\armored transport to fight biters? i couldn`t see that in roadmap.

Re: Hidden ores
high-tier mining can be made this way: -Tech for making good enough alloy. -new type of mine (i.e. Deep mine) -new type of crafable item (drill of different tiers with durability) It can be used like coal. Put one, it will work some time, and then disappear (wear-off) -new ore, with oil-like mechani...

Re: Electric energy
Complexity of nuclear power is good. But don`t overdo it . If it will become "micromanagement hell", then no, no and no. Yea. we need steam as liquid. Yea, we need 2 separate lines (1 for cooling and 1 for making steam) yea. Nuclear plant should be complex (though reactor could be with bui...

Re: Hidden ores
2a)Atomic industry will be needed. It`s highly strange to power laser turrets and other high tech things with coal-powered steam engines. Huh, even with nuclear plants available to us a large chunk of world's energy comes from steam engines. It's the most cost-effective method. If you don't live in...

Re: Electric energy
Whatever is planned for nuclear reactors, please don't add spontaneous meltdown, nuclear bomb explosion during meltdown or significant passive radiation around a properly functioning reactor. Spontaneous meltdown not possible IRL. If all goes well, it won`t blow up. Explosion, when reactor is damag...

Re: Electric energy
Nuclear energy is great thing. As we need electric fences, high-energy weapons and powering high-tech industry. Yea, and Nuclear weapons to clear overgrown alien bases. High energy-consuming plasma weaponry will be good too. And yea. uranium slugs and radioactive waste is cool! Wind energy would be ...

Re: Hidden ores
Hi guys. Some points on uderground mining <IMHO> 1) No, we don`t need imaginary ores. Mb adamantium is ok, but then we need Chainswords, God-emperor, Space marines, and some Horus heresy to start industry. :D 2) uranium is very ok as underground ore. And 2 technological metods. Normal mining and ISL...

Toxins and poisoning.
toxins. As we playing against organic enemies, it is quite obvious for me, that we need to use some form of toxins in our weapon arsenal. Not only thrown globes, but as a special bullets, shells and so on. It would be interesting, to have a turrets( or pipes with vents) able to "breathe" ...

Ah... i think i should make it more clear.... No offense, but given that there is effectively a demo for the game. I find it quite offensive and appalling that you would pirate the game, then confess to said piracy arrogantly on the forums while 'adding your two cents'. Glad you bought the game, but...
