Deleting the Factorio folder and checking files in steam to force a download of all files has fixed the issues.

When loading the game, there is a long waiting time at 95% [Loading sounds...] but no crashes, it takes 50 to 60 seconds before reaching the main menu from that point. No issues really here, but it's odd so I point it out.
Another issue I notice is there is no background gameplay in the main menu ...

Simply add Stone Brick, Concrete and Refine Concrete to the Upgrade Planner, so that we can easily upgrade/change them.
