I'm commonly a lurker, but had to hop on and give you my regards.
Very rarely do I see something that changes up the actual gameplay and tries something so new.
This looks amazing and I'll be patiently looking forward to how far you can take this wonderful idea.
=)

Re: [MOD 0.11.5+] Cursed Exp - v0.1.3
Yeah, every so often I notice myself not using parts which lead me to wonder if I should rebalance them.
For instance, the "extra craft" for talents. Code has it so it's Level/10 for chance of extra (so 2/10 is 20% for one extra, where as 12/10 is 120% chance, guarnteeing one, with a 20% chance for ...

Re: [MOD 0.11.5+] Cursed Exp - v0.1.3
Interesting! I'll see if I can port my game "backwards" to an older version (Though I somehow doubt this).
Amusingly my "workaround" was just to change code to increase collection from 5 to 50 tiles. Super "cheaty" but I couldn't figure another workaround at the time (Most of my funnel-plans failed)

@DraLUSAD
I've been digging through his code and it's a bit of both.
The "detection" kicks in a 64 grid, but it's only "absorbed" within 5 tiles.
There seems to be a routine that treats the blood like an enemy with a slow move speed, and it's supposed to "aggro" or move toward the blood tanks.

Re: Busy weekend
This is indeed good news.
What may also be interesting to add on for perspective is that a "well known" piracy group made a public Crack/Release of Factorio yesterday.
These types of releases tend to bring a lot of attention, especially if it's toward an indie game.

The dev of Banished has mentioned he's been working in the professional game development industry for many years in a handful of roles.
It sounds like he's coming from a perspective of heavy experience. It shows.

"There is the snow outside, the air is fresh and some worm clothing is a must."
I believe you mean "warm" clothing.
As always, thank you for your wonderful work on the game. Patiently and eagerly waiting the next update. =)

Re: Random Ramblings #11
Hello, thank you for the info.
The fault of the OCZ vertex was probably not lifetime problem as the S.M.A.R.T tool is indicating 100% health of the disk. If it was lifetime problem, the disk would slowly decrease it's size etc. But the problem was the random freezing, not sure why, but I guess it ...

Re: Random Ramblings #11
Ouch.. You went with a TLC (Three Layer Cell) design SSD?
That has an even lower lifespan than the flaky MLC drive you just had fail on you. :(
TLC- Three Layer Cell
Higher density
Lower endurance limit than MLC and SLC
TLC has slower read and write speeds than conventional MLC

also got OCZ, after half year performance on random reads dropped below 40 mbs (from 200), planning to switch into kingstone or intel drive.
This all has to do with earlier generations of SSD's having performance degradation over the lifespan of the drive (Lots of technical reasons that are ...

I'll second the Samsung 840 EVO Recommendation.
Samsung since they entered the market have been generation after generation becoming one of the more dominant forces in the SSD industry (primarily due to them manufacturing both their own Flash memory, and Controller used), and have gained a lot of ...

Most excellent updates.
I'm continued to interested in these small state-of-affairs updates to see how everything is going on.
I am curious to see what's going to happen when your game does get Greenlit on steam, and you start having Surprisingly high numbers of purchases per day.

Extremely Low FPS After Update to 0.71
Hello Factorio Forum's!
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Absolutely have adored the game thus far, but have recently run into some pretty big issue once I updated from 0.64 to 0.71
Where the game previous run at 40-60FPS on average, it's dropped to 27 on load, and 15-20 after about five minutes ...
