OK - So just to make sure then, since these recipes have no main product and no subgroup, I should assume their subgroup is "other".
I can do that, it just didn't sound like that was the intent from the first two replies.

Re: [2.0.25] Data JSON dump recycling recipes missing subgroup
I don't think I understand. Your replies seem to say "the subgroup is now the subgroup of the item being recycled", but the issue I am seeing is there is no subgroup assigned to the recipes at all.
Is it because the subgroup is not assigned until a later point in the game startup process now, and ...

[2.0.25] Data JSON dump recycling recipes missing subgroup
Running --data-raw-dump on version 2.0.25, the resulting JSON data seems to be missing the subgroup field on recycling recipes. This field was present in the dump from 2.0.24 (the value was "other").

[Rseding91] [2.0.8 + SA] Data dump JSON floats off
From the `--dump-data` file `data-raw-dump.json`. The beacon "profile" field in the JSON data dump has badly converted floats. I would consider this a minor issue, but it would be very nice if these were as clean as they are in the Lua state.

Circular reference in prototype docs: ProcessionLayer <-> PodDistanceTraveledProcessionLayer
In the 2.0.7 prototype docs, "ProcessionLayer" is listed as a type with options which include the type "PodDistanceTraveledProcessionLayer".
"PodDistanceTraveledProcessionLayer" is listed as a type which matches type "ProcessionLayer".
This appears to be a circular reference.

Specify size in draw_sprite
I would like to request the ability to pass a specific size (height, width) when calling LuaRendering draw_sprite.
Currently, you can specify a scale, but this only really works if you know the original size of the sprite, which we don't at runtime (unless you are the author of the sprite, and you ...

Re: [1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
After getting it to work, I reverted back to my original settings and now it continues to work.
I've no idea what's going on at this point.

Re: [1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
For what it's worth, I can confirm that setting "Sprite resolution" to "Normal" serves as a workaround for this issue.
EDIT: I had "Atlas texture size" set to the default "Largest possible", but setting it to "4096" while still using high resolution graphics also seems to work around the issue.

Re: [1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
Thanks for looking into this Honktown, I've been away from my PC for the weekend but sure looks like you've gotten to (or close to) the bottom of it.
Mods/devs, if this is a duplicate of the thread Honktown opened: https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=104320, feel free to do what you ...

Re: [1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
I definitely wouldn't expect the monitor to matter when I'm exporting data only, but I do have an ultrawide monitor. I can also try running the dump from one of my smaller monitors.

Re: [1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
Interesting! I am on Windows and I tried updating all mods to the latest version before I posted my issue but I'll have to try again and post my logs.
I will note that I was running with 248K, Krastorio 2, and Space Exploration. My guess now is that maybe it's something about those three combined ...

[1.1.88] Dump commands failing with Combat Mechanics Overhaul
1. Attempting to use the --dump-data and --dump-prototype-locale commands with the mod "Combat Mechanics Overhaul" (combat-mechanics-overhaul), a dependency of "Space Exploration", to get icons from this mod for use in FactorioLab.

Re: [1.1.85] Icon dump truncates names with `:`
Is there any further information I can provide to get traction on this issue? The author of Exotic Industries is holding off on making any changes pending any possible fix to the dump command itself, since their mod is unlikely to be the only one affected by this issue. I think if we had a mapping ...

Re: [1.1.85] Icon dump truncates names with `:`
That makes sense. I obviously didn't author the mod, so I could suggest to the author not to use that character but in general that seems like it might not be the best approach.

Re: [1.1.85] Icon dump fails for some icons
I can't seem to confirm whether this recipe's icons work in-game, because the recipe is hidden, so if the answer is "this icon specification is invalid," feel free to close this issue, as it may be irrelevant.
