Re: Keyboard layout selection on Ubuntu 17.10 broken?

It could be a Gnome thing. I have the same "issue" running arch linux (I actually see it as a feature because I don't have to worry about my keyboard being in Qwerty when I launch factorio). When you do a search (or type into a text box) does it type in Dvorak or in Qwerty? (For me it type...

[wheybags][0.15.37] Crash when installing mod [Linux]

I just tried to install the Sea Block mod and after selecting the mod from the menu and clicking install the game crashed. actually the crash seems to happen after I click back after clicking install. (I'm getting the same crash with installing other mods as well.) Here is the factorio-current: 0.00...

[15.16] Factorio doesn't load on very-low graphics qualitity

Hi, I have been running factorio fine on Arch Linux at `low` graphics settings. But when I change to `very-low` graphics setting I get an out of memory error on start up. This is strange as strictly less memory seems to be used. I wasn't running any other programs on either test. (Also it would be u...

Re: Version 0.15.4

Did you remove the roboport coverage indicators? Before this, when placing a roboport (directly or via blueprint) it didn't just show the are the new roboport covers, but also the area of the existing ports... which is essential for aligning. It looks like it has been fixed for the next version: ht...

Re: Friday Facts #188 - Bug, Bug, Desync

Hi Joe, I don't know a huge amount about the internals of either game so you should take what I say with a pinch of salt. Could someone explain why Deterministic Lockstep is causing desync in Factorio while it solved desyncs in Path of Exile? Are there different approaches to implement lockstep into...

Re: Friday Facts #86 - Trees

I would vote : - Sand for early (glass), mid (concrete, ...), and end game(silicium, ...), - Aluminium for mid and end game (Aluminium is one of the most used metals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium), it's light, has natural anti-corrosion features, and is really abundant, though mostly in ba...

Re: [0.11.18]Another random Crash in arch Linux

I have just checked the save in 0.11.19 and the crash still seems to happen.

[ Sorry if I should have included this as an edit to my previous message. ]

[0.11.18][cube]Another random Crash in arch Linux

I have had a crash in single player. For me it happens consistently in this save about 9 seconds after loading (just as an outpost gets destroyed by biters). https://www.dropbox.com/s/0d8pk0hscxunjvv/_autosave1.zip?dl=0 OS: Arch linux (64bit linux) RAM: 8G Screen resolution: 1600 x 900 I play with a...
