Just as my space platform reached Aquilo it was destroyed when an asteroid hit the nuclear plant powering it. I got the message

Running and placing large power poles (left mouse down, auto-placing next) and next power pole placement was going to be on a rock.
As the pole was placed the game froze/crashed
