I'm pretty sure 99% of Factorioplayers addicts would happily play if it was ASCII gfx...
For me the big win of .17 is being able to set up the quick bar filters early on.

Don't be put off by the complexity - I'm finding Bob's (without Angel's although I am going to use his warehouses I think) to be about right difficulty-wise (although managing all the fluids/gases seems to be somewhat of an arcane art - haven't played about with them too much yet).

... The placement and granularity has always been far better with RSO than vanilla...
Because the map is full of patches that just aren't important. And they'll tear your OCD apart...
But if you stick with RSO, you're gonna accomplish great things, and RSO's gonna be part of that!

I find House of all kinds goes great. Works like "driving music" - that four-to-the-floor keeps the pulse pumping and the blood flowing to the brain - you know, for finkin' gud an' stuff :)
