Is anyone struggling with water?
I always run out of water, I am trying to get an Aquilo platform, I think I need nuclear since solar has a penalty on the way to aquilo.
I seem to always struggle water wise between producing rockets and fuel.

Re: How much more the devs get if I buy through the website?
Steam takes 30%, so WUBE makes 43% more when people buy it directly from them instead of buying through Steam. https://medium.com/@koneteo.stories/how-much-money-does-steam-take-from-developers-b7ae6a6e587b I mentioned it in my post but someone said that they use Himble for the website sales which ...

How much more the devs get if I buy through the website?
I read they use humble ok the website and would pay 25%.
How much more would the devs get if I buy stuff through the website instead of steam?

Blueprint lock
I think there should be a way to lock a book or blueprint to prevent accidental modifications.
Maybe there is a way already but didn’t see it.

Re: regarding my blueprints and other neat things
I think there is a bug in one of the blueprits, the copper wire is not put on the top side of the belt at the beginning so it will clog down.
NIce book though

Re: Mods for 1st expansion run
For me
https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Squeak%20Through
And some version of far/long reach
https://mods.factorio.com/mod/far-reach
Does anyone have a tutorial of recursive blueprints? I never used it and want to learn it.

Re: Space Age general Questions
I played the Space Exploration mod, I am almost sure that the Space Age mod will be different: the space exploration mod has a different mindset and makes even basic tasks harder, I suspect the Space Age mod will be much more accessible. I have a love/hate relationship with space exploration: althou...

@BenSeldel only read the initial post, did you post a link to what you work on, it looks interesting outside of Factorio applications.

Trying to edit a map from my save
I unzipped a save into my maps folder and wanted to edit the map. However in the editor it seems that the map is opened in a location very different to my starting point in the game. I could not find my base and there is no option to unzoom really far, the key 'm' does not work in the editor. How ca...

Re: Inserters and Labs
Noobs often get confused about why Inserters stop moving Coal into Boilers, too. And I'm sure some get upset about Inserters not pushing all the ammo into Gun Turrets. I wish interface would explain difference between noob and newbie better. I know its offtopic but i hate missuse of word noob. I'm ...

Re: New Hope - Level 4
Thanks for the advice, I guess my problem is that I always go overboard and start making chains of 3 factories for almost anything with very long chains rather than focusing on the mission.

New Hope - Level 4
I am struggling a bit on this level, I cannot quite manage to destroy enemy nests to take ressources hidden there.
You are quite limited on this level in technologies and the amount of iron in the original spot is a bit low.
Any help/tips on this level ?
