Thank you for bringing this pressing issue to attention. A fix will be included in the next release.

And you were right, the bug happened when the description was long enough to need line wrapping.

Thank you for the report. While I could not figure out how that line of items got compressed like that, a fix for the overcompression not disappearing will be included in the next release.

Addressing this issue would break other intended behaviour. The GUI keeps the assignment of colours to entities consistent for as long as the player doesn't interact with it. I could not reproduce the issue in vanilla gameplay. From your screenshot I can tell that your game is modded, including changes to the pump you are highlighting. As the problem seems to stem from the changes introduced by mods, you have to talk to the mod creators about fixing it.

May I ask what you mean by "copy pasting" the splitter? If it means you use [Ctrl]-[C] and select only the splitter, then what you receive in your cursor is a blueprint, not a ghost item. Replacement logic like you are expecting does not apply to blueprints.

The issue here is not within the migration, but that there is a migration at all. We don't allow migrations to happen in multiplayer, as those are a clear sign of a version mismatch.
