Great work!
Really enjoyed watching the progress over the years, and really happy with Factorio vanilla.
Good reasoning for the future, I look forward to what you come up with.

Re: Friday Facts #339 - Beacon HR + Redesign process
I agree with many others here, great art work which shows a lot of effort has been put into it. But ill fitting, misleading as to its purpose and draws too much attention to itself for something that supports other buildings and going to dominate the factory, etc, etc. With any building that has var...

I beg to differ. In the FFF slider the new nighttime is a lot darker.

Re: Friday Facts #320 - Color correction
Hey guys, looks like a lot of work went into this
The new day time colours are a lot clearer and easier for my tired eyes, especially the map.
However, I find the blue nighttime is making it way harder to see.

Re: Poor performance [0.17.66]
Apologies for not responding earlier. Earlier whilst I said it had "a very positive improvement" when it worked better, the UPS/FPS counter regularly flickered below 59, 58 or lower while playing. Cores 0,1 & 2 were seemed pretty busy for such an early play through stage. I figured 0.1...

Re: Poor performance [0.17.56]
Concerned about exposing my computer to long periods of 100% usage of the first 3 cores or 28% usage total. Installed and ran Very Sleepy, recording a few minutes whilst playing the Campaign including while mining. I'm not sure where to post the Sleepy capture file since its not ASCII. You can add ...

@Polisa & Rseding Today I ran Factorio and it has updated to the latest version 0.17.64 and there have been some very positive changes. I view Task manager on the Performance tab with the CPU pane showing all the cores, so when I say all cores are at 100% I mean 100% CPU utilization. When I say ...

Re: Poor performance [0.17.56]
Interesting, similar hardware but different issues. I get performance issues regardless of full screen or windowed. I have tried a number of settings with no change. My GPU is ticking over at around 40%. The CPU is just high usage of first 3 cores regardless of what I'm doing in the game. Thank you ...

Poor performance [0.17.56]
Since the release of 0.17 and many of the updates I've had performance issues despite having a pretty decent computer Its an i7 8700K 3.7MHz 32GB RAM with RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB video card, dual monitor setup. All drivers are up to date. Using Windows Defender and Firewall. Factorio-current.log at the en...

Re: Friday Facts #289 - Character GUI
This is excellent. One thing that concerns me, many times I make logistic requests for items I need a lot of, but I am happy if I have more than that amount. So requested amount does not equal auto trash over requested amount. If I've requested 300 belts while relaying belts and pick up a lot more d...

Re: Factorio Roadmap for 0.17 & 0.18
I realise people are looking forward to 0.17, but I don't get the pressure being put on them to release ASAP or even the demand they should do it and do it soon. Its their game its their product and its up to them to say when its ready.

Re: Friday Facts #283 - Prepare to Launch
I find it odd that so few people play at a level which includes the possibility of losing? According to Steam's global achievement stats, only 13.8% of players have the "smoke me a kipper" achievement, which implies that 86% of players have never won . But I am pretty sure every active po...

Secondly, toolbar idea: 'Switch train to manual' for a train you're on board, so it isn't sitting checking for an arbitrary circuit condition to stop it buggering off when I get where I'm going, or if I just need to do a bit of manoeuvering, without me having to open the gui and find the little swi...

So when is 0.17 coming? No update in the FFF and January is pretty much done :( They said it probably wouldn't come out this month in some FFF over the past couple weeks. So your best chance is some time in the next 4-5 weeks. Friday Facts #278 https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-278 Looking ove...
