so a 14.35% increase overall for same ore cost but a lot slower buildings so more power needed for beacons

There are some new recipes for the casting unit, which needs 4 fluids (3+hot air). These recipes (drillhead, leadcontainer,laborequipment) are not chooseable in the casting unit. Awesome, thanks for your advice. I was thinking about starting on an island to be safe from biters at the beginning, but I agree - if it's not intended to be played with biters and has no good tools to deal with them, I'll switch them off. There is nothing like collecting biter remains or something...

I've checked out the new multi-step Stainless Steel recipe, and while at first look it seems promising, it turns out it requires more than twice as much iron as the single step recipe. Example, using High Grade Iron > Molten Iron path, and hot air versions of the recipes, for producing 100 Stainles...

What is a first source of bone meal right now? I can find only cottonguts but using their bones is pain vrauk can be used use the mat+bone recipe but for a more proper animal look ulric and muk up (wherever is first) , or maybe auog but ulric is best overall i cant find any bone related vrauk recip...
