Re: Glass works fluid?

Yeah something still feels really off about early game. I'm supposed to get 270 coalgas and/or tar for each glassware I create? (2 seconds of glassworks = 54megajoules). The only way to get coalgas and tar with no tech is to run raw coal through a DDC, and then run the small amount of regular coal ...

in the case of fuel oil it will not stay like that for long

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion

Isn't it a typo that glassworks now have 27MW consumption? That is major bottleneck early on. Like all syngas sinks to that and there is no left for turbines. I would say 6MW would be better. What do you think? 6MW is 4/s natural gas atm so it is like nothing Not sure how you got to that number. I ...

Re: Glass works fluid?

So I just came back to Pyanodons since 4 or 6 months ago. What has happened? Red Science is now going to take hours and hours to even make the first one? Glassworks requires TWENTY SEVEN MEGAWATTS of liquid fuel? I plugged it into helmod and that would be 800 coal gas per second to make 1 red scien...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion

also atm you can automize CO2 wood at red science , if i remember well , so you can make it from just power and water and yes it is a positive power loop too

for mk1 it is 27MJ syngas was 400kj/unit , i think, so 67-68/s not much also if you use O2 in syngas you also get bonus H2 as fuel

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion

warning for all: When it comes to the new glass works buildings in come cases (mk2-4 and modules) the power usage can increase enough enough that not all fluids can fully satisfy the power of the building (since it can only burn 600/s) so H2 is not enough as fuel from a point on NOTE a MK4 with full...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion

Glassworks fuel? I saw another post that said "Any liquid with a fuel value" but that's also something completely unable to be determined in game. I've got coal gas already as that was an ingredient, but need it elsewhere too. Liquid fuels need a fuel value tool tip. Or the glassworks and anything ...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion

With the new fuel fluids for the glass works, where is the MJ/fluid listed? The standard crafting screen does not show it. We have WIIRUF installed and it doesn't show it. The only place I've found is looking at a Glassworks actively burning a fluid. it is in mod files , and it is displaied in the ...

Re: pY Alien Life - Discussion

Is it intended that composting phytoplankton gives 40 biomass for 10 units of fluid? It seems too good to be true compared to the other composting recipes and the proportion of "free" energy gained if you convert the biomass into raw coal and its products. phytoplankton is SLOW also there is no eas...

Just noticed that glassworks-mk04 requires a glassworks-mk04 to produce.

Re: Helmod (non-)issue with Pysuite

I had the same thing happen to me. 'Why does this say it needs coa--- ohhhhhhhh'. Also somewhat important to know with the new glassworks. For some reason my Helmod defaulted to Methanol, and I was extremely confused because I don't have Methanol unlocked yet. I had to come to the forums to realize...

Re: pY Alien Life - Discussion

Thanks! I've got a follow up question. Currently searching for a bio reserve. It should spawn in newly created junks, right? Does "enable custom pymods resource generator" affect the spawning of AlienLife resources in any way? Should it stay disabled? you should get one close to spawn you need a lo...

Re: Why no loop back on Fawogae?

good question
and yes i think those collectors are slow too
but i would also like a loop there since it would reduce massively the footprint

aromatics > biomass seems fine for me.
it is 60 aromatics for 30 biomass per second, but the footprint is quite big with 60 compost plants required for this
yes composting is very slow atm but it will be made faster
also how do you intend to make the aromatics ?

Re: Biomass/CO2

biomass in in a weird place atm
i suggest useing spores and ralesia seeds for biomass
also the soil separation recipe is good the limestone can be used to make seaweed and the weed can be composted too
plancton is sorta slow so not great

Hello,
Begun new game with AL...problem with ralesia. I can't make it ingredient traditional method in ralesia plantation.
you need to use thee codez in order to get 2-3 then you can use the traditional seed and greenhouse method
