Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

The coal fines isnt a bug..stop calling it a bug, that doesnt block you from playing, its just a duplicate ingredient..and it on purpose. ALL jig recipes get duplicated inputs when there´s only one fluid to goes in Ok in the end of ends i need 100 Thickened Coal Fines that's all i wanted to know - ...

Re: What should we do next?

1. Land dependant: create a new type of ore called fertile ground. then either create an extremely big extractor, i mean as big as the whole screen to simulate a farm that requires fertilizer (using mining fluid and drill head mechanics) to "mine" alien life. agriculture should take up a lot of spa...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

I was exploring the new py Raw Ore Mod pack in combination with the other pY mods and I think I reached a dead end. I want to craft red transport belts and tunnels which require stainless steel. To get stainless steel you need Aramid which is produced in Nano-Material Factory. To build a Nano-Mater...

Re: What should we do next?

I voted for alien life. But i dont prefer it to be another mod that only lengthens the production chain and add more buildings. We already have the most complicated chain from hightech already, by simply repeating it again in AL wont make the mod series much more interesting. So i suggest the direc...

Re: What should we do next?

Sounds like a py industry update could really help building a better base with better belts/inserters/trains ect.. , plus it's probably a smaller undertaking compared to the other 3 :) Dont expect belts...its waaay too hard to create graphics for it..same for pipes. so not that much probably just s...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

The 2nd aluminium plates recipe is kind of interesting if you don't value your borax, but it's not a no brainer like other level 2 smelting/processing recipes. The 3rd one I don't understand (a bit more ore + lots of other inputs, only some gravel as byproduct output). Recipes from higher grade al ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Okay, I installed Helmod and went through the numbers. Yeah, aluminum definitely appears to get worse as you progress from Aluminum 0 to Aluminum 2. No real speed increase, more power (even if you use foundries instead of steel furnaces), more of a foot print, more inputs, and technically less effi...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

https://i.imgur.com/SKQaKTC.png I MADE A GRAPH WITH ALL SODIUM RECIPES (NON METAL RELATED) as py said salt is precious and it has a lot of uses in smelting and circuit boards Sodium Hydroxide the first link in a chain is the expensive one with a ratio of 10:1 (the rest are 1:1) SO SALT WILL BE USED...

Re: 4-way intersections: Throughput and deadlocks [image heavy]

If a forced signal causes any trains to crash, that probably constitutes a bug. Yeah, It probably is. I put in a mechanism to prevent it in my merger. i forgot to ask were there any signal problems in the design i posted here 2-3 days ago? It doesnt support turning left from the outer lane, and the...
