Re: Bugs & FAQ

In Angels Refining, there seems to be a typo regarding Floatation recipe overrides for Yuoki Resources when using Yuoki's mods. File: angelsrefining_0.12.0.zip\angelsrefining_0.12.0\prototypes\refining_override.lua - line 105 - 119 --OVERRIDE FOR YUOKI if data.raw.item["y-res1"] then OV.pa...

Re: Friday Facts #305 - The Oil Changes

There is a rather simple solution to all the confusions that may arise. Just have fixed refinery inputs and outputs for everything. When having only basic oil researched, have only crude oil input on one side allowed, instead of allowing both inputs get crude oil. Same for the output, fix the output...

Re: Are Bitters unnecessary?

Biters are basically just a huge resource sink. You will need additional resources to withstand them and fend them off, so you will need resources for military science, for walls, for turrets, for ammunition, for additional electrical power for laser turrets and so on. This sums up over time and it'...

Re: Yuoki Industries - Informations, Suggestions, Questions

Just seen them all updated, nice work. Thank you. Your turrets will come in very handy ... with the new biters. Edit: I just see ... coal stacks are still 57MJ, should they not be halved in value to get along with the new halved coal? 1 Coal Stack uses 6 coal, which is now only 24MJ. Although, in th...

Re: Lazy Bastard and Deathworld, has it been done?

It should be even easier now if you use 'island' as map setting. Then 'deathworld' does not really matter, just make sure nothing spawns on your island. Other than that, it's doable but it will take forever, since you will have to wait until all the pollution has dissipated naturally before you cont...

Something is wrong with that gif, it never finishes! I watched it now for an hour or two, but still no impact. I'm sure .17 is released as soon as the truck hits!

Keeping on watching ... it HAS TO HIT one time!

Since almost forever:

Squeak Through
Yuoki
RSO
FNEI
Long Reach (there are people playing without it ... brrrr)
Clock (you so often forget time ...)
Science Cost Tweaker

And, most important mod: "Base mod".

Good question, next question.

Re: Any Settler fans here?

I wish they would make a modern remake of the first Settlers game from 1993. Let it have the same graphics (maybe allow more than SVGA with 640x480px, I loved how my Genoa 8500VL graphics card back then could display this, and my monitor too), same awesome music, same interface, just a modern 64bit ...

Re: Aren't construction bots available too late?

Yes galibert, I know, but even these meandering spaghetti abominations are hard to build with construction robots, and with this the strange factory setups too. Having each base looking the same due to using blueprints over and over again made 20 playthroughs ago or downloaded somewhere = game kille...

Re: Aren't construction bots available too late?

When in earlier games I tried to rush robots, now I take a different approach. Especially with Angel's and Bob's and Yuoki in combination, I make a big huge mess, which is still functional, even without robots. Seeing iron, copper and steel meandering through the base to build piercing ammo, which a...

Re: Friday Facts #247 - Pricing and its exploits

Regarding regional pricing: I can still remember when Borderlands 2 was released, it was extremely cheap in the RU version. So most people bought the RU version in hope to change the language to english, which was not possible though. But due to the high amount of people who did this, Steam & Ge...

Re: Odd graphic glitch

For long reach: go into the mod-options in your game, change the range from 125 to 126 -> apply -> should be working again.

Sometimes adding mods performs a reset on long reach settings to not be applied.

Well, does someone have the handy text at hand describing and explaining what exactly "ALPHA" means, and that this is, by FAR, VERY FAR, not even close to showing off the final product. Heck, they can even turn the game into something completely different before hitting "BETA". S...

Re: The obsolete turret problem

50% shorter range than lasers is what makes turrets obsolete. Nothing less, nothing more. No, not at all. A combination of both is nice. Gun Turrets front, Laser Turrets right behind, and no matter what big waves are coming -> short work, without lasers getting in trouble due to low firing speed. O...

Re: kovarex Considering a January Release on Steam.

Nobody wants to compete with Fallout 4 in November, so several pushed their games to February... which makes that a bad time to release as well. January might actually be the best choice if it has to be "soon". And noone wants to compete with XCom 2 aswell, in February. Doesn't matter whe...
