Re: [0.17.47] On Mac - graphics - icons missing

Huh -- I'm not seeing these problems with 0.17.47. I upgraded straight from 17.45, and aside from the new ore icons, everything looks just like it did in 17.45, both modded and vanilla. I'm seeing this behavior on 2 different machines: a 2017 iMac, MacOS 10.14.5, Radeon 580 (8GB VRAM); and a 2018 Ma...

Re: Version 0.17.40

looks like they found a game breaking bug and took down the auto update until a fix for it is ready, keep using 17.39 I'm perfectly happy to keep using 17.39 for now, but has there been any specific announcement that 17.40 has been retracted? In the past when they've had to pull a released version,...

The updater is failing on MacOS. In addition, the .dmg has no mountable file system (i.e. dmg is corrupted).
I haven't tried the updater, but I'm seeing the same problem with the .dmg on macOS 10.14.5.

[0.17.36] Restarting game in fullscreen mode on MacOS 10.14.4 allocates another desktop

Factorio 0.17.34, standalone; MacOS 10.14.4. I play with the "full screen" option in the graphics settings enabled. Observed behavior: when launching Factorio, it appears on a new virtual desktop (or "space," in MacOS terminology), just like other MacOS full-screen apps. When I l...

Re: 0.17: How to deconstruct tile ghosts?

I found the same thing yesterday when doing some tests on the deconstruction planner and have just raised it as a bug . Thanks for the confirmation that I'm not just seeing things, and thanks for writing up the bug report. (I'm a programmer myself in my day job, and I only wish all the bug reports ...

0.17: How to deconstruct tile ghosts?

In 0.16, it's possible to delete tile ghosts (and only tile ghosts) with the deconstruction planner. If I open the planner's filter config, make sure that there are no entity filters selected, and ensure that the dropdown list under the Tiles tab is set to "only", the decon planner only af...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] ShinyBob_0.16.x

I've just encountered what seems to be an incompatibility between ShinyBob_Graphics 0.16.7 and miniloader 1.6.8. If I have both of these modules enabled, then I get the following error when starting Factorio: Failed to load mods: __ShinyBob_Graphics__/data-updates.lua:11: __ShinyBob_Graphics__/proto...

Re: Confirm quit game when closing window

We're not making alt + F4 prompt to close. Don't press alt + F4 if you don't want a program to close instantly :P I'm merely suggesting that if a player hits the keybinding accidentally, terminating the program without allowing them to save progress is perhaps not a very friendly response. It's als...

Request confirmation on close-window

I don't know if this is a suggestion or a bug report; if it would be better for me to post this as a bug report, please let me know and I'll happily repost it in the appropriate forum. Could the devs please consider asking for confirmation when the user hits cmd-Q or alt-F4? I find myself accidental...
