Re: Train signaling of hexagon cornor intersection
I know this is already solved but what I tend to do with things like this is to just make the whole intersection 1 big block. It will slow your trains down slightly if you've got lots of trains going through at the same time but much simpler, if less elegant.

Re: Who brought you to factorio?
I noticed a friend of mine was playing it a lot on Steam, after several weeks of myself and a few others in our friend group making fun of him for playing a game that sounds like work etc, I watched the trailer and then downloaded the demo. Bought the game the same day, along with the rest of the gr...

Re: Friday Facts #278 - The new quickbar
Love the new quickbar, I don't even mind that 0.17 won't get released in January. Quite happy to wait a few weeks longer for a better release. :D In regards to some of the requests for a quickbar that is constant between saves, I don't think this is necessary, you start with only the most basic stuf...

Re: Train circuit
@Serenity is correct. The OP states that both stations are on the same side of the track on single track line. That means the train can't get to the station behind it unless there is a loop.
Put one of the stations on the other side of the track and it'll work.

Re: Can someone please tell me how to properly signal this
A chain signal looks ahead along the tracks to the next signal(s)on that track. Simplified: - all signals ahead are red -> red - at least one signal ahead green -> blue - all signals green -> green - no other signal found -> any train anywhere on the rails somwhere ahead of the signal will turn the...

Nobody seems to have mentioned the obvious solution of increasing your supply. If all the iron is going to gears and not circuits then increase iron production to compensate.

Losing blueprints when switching builds
So I usually play using the experimental build but jumped back to 16.36 to play with some friends on their server. When I went back to experimental at a later date to continue with my current game I found that all my blueprints had disappeared. a) is this intentional? and b) is there any way to get ...

Underground belt exit turns
TL;DR Allow exits for underground belts to come up facing left or right. What ? So underground belts currently only allow you to go down and then back up in a single direction, straight. I think it would be handy to allow the exit piece to be rotated so that the belt could immediately turn as it ca...

Changing Pollution settings mid game
Hey guys, Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a quick search but didn’t find anything. Is it possible to change pollution settings once a game is up and running? I was messing around with the pollution dispersion figures and I think I set it too high as the buyers never attack. (I’m definitel...
