HEAVILY modded game. Includes Angel's, Bob's, py, and a bunch others on a Linux headless server with a few players.
Ran fine for over 23 hours on 0.16.16. Only 1 player on since the update.
After update to 0.16.17, crashed client and server within a few minutes of player join.

I agree with quite a few of these ideas, but especially with the idea of filtering mods based on version.
