Re: Version 0.11.7
Well, this is side effect (among many others) of using fixed point 4 byte numbers (with 1 byte for sub tile part) for position coordinates in the game instead of the 8 byte doubles. Wow, I know this won't affect a lot of people very much but in my compact factory, this side effect completely borks ...

Re: One inventory, One vehicle, What do you take?
I've actually done this already. My factory is modular enough that I can blueprint the whole thing and shove all the building materials into a car's trunk. The only thing it's missing is external miners, pumping jacks, and offshore pump.

Re: Tutorial for Belt Speed, Density and Throughput
Fantastic video. I would highly recommend to any new players. I even see a lot of experienced LP players not fully understanding how to address issues in their factory with compression, density, and speed.

Re: Belt Lane Swapping
The slowdown on the outside bends can be reduced by using a splitter. In that first pic, remove the middle chunk and add a splitter. You won't have packs on an outside corner then. You can also improve efficiency by outputting into a chest and then from that chest onto the belt. You would use underg...

Re: When you know what you want...
Nice little setup. I would be worried that a single lane ore feed would not be enough for 100% uptime on a steel furnace using coal. Your screenshot looks like even some of the stone furnaces are starved. After switching to electric furnaces, a double lane ore feed might not even be enough depending...

Re: The Compound (Tiny, Efficient, Modular)
Feels kind of out of the spirit of your imposed challenge to have outsourced smelting to one of your outposts. I could be wrong but I do not believe he has outsourced smelting to an outpost. The trains are bringing in ore. The 10 auxiliary furnaces are included in the base - they just are not dedic...

Re: The Compound (Tiny, Efficient, Modular)
That looks really neat! Is there any external powerproduction? What modules are using, furnace count and all seems so low, how would it work if you striped all the stored stuff? Questions over questions, loving it! :D The compound has 186 solar panels generating 11 MW of power and 200 accumulators ...

The Compound (Tiny, Efficient, Modular)
This pic is my entire production factory. The rest are mining outposts. It's meant to be super compact and as efficient as I can get with the limitation that all my production must fit inside a 100 x 100 grid compound, while resource gathering can be external. Pollution was also a consideration and ...
