[1.1.53] Game to Continue not updated by Save

I believe there is an inconsistency between how you remember the game "last played", for use on the Continue button, and what game should be used to pre-select a file for the Save function. Here's a case that seems wrong to me. My backup strategy is to create another save each day I play, ...

Re: [0.17.56] Crash on loading save, train signal issue

Here's another one, "Error RailSignalBase.cpp:361: outgoingBlock->getInboundSignals().count(const_cast<RailSignalBase*>(this)) was not true". Tried to load a save, see your error dialog offering to open the log folder, cancel that and then the game exits. No dump for me, but log and save a...

Re: My take on using steam as a backup. Works perfectly for

I think it's worth a reminder that if you came here looking for a way to turn steam power on/off, you don't need storage tanks. Hot water storage is used by the OP to reduce the number of boilers required. I suppose this is an interesting exercise, but having spent a few hours playing with hot water...

Re: [Design] Two Cargo Wagons to Blue Belt fastest

This design seems to have somewhat better throughput. It won't clog and is a bit cheaper. Note that the asymmetry is important - if you try to make the two halves look the same, you'll end up with a small gap in one of the output lanes, as with the designs above (something to do with the curves). I ...

Re: Version 0.11.10

This is caused by not enough output inserters. Input inserters stall when the output stack is >= 2 (for single-item recipes). I stand corrected. You can see the space where I had a second one at first, and replacing it makes it run smoothly. Thanks for the clarification, good to know. Edit: It appe...

Re: Version 0.11.10

Not certain of this, but it looks to me like there may be excessive delay in waking up inserters (related to the recent optimization). http://i.imgur.com/WpmpEab.jpg I'm looking at the green circuit assembler on the left. It had stalled when I took the screenshot. As you can see, output is not block...

Re: Version 0.11.8

At least on my Mac, the updater has the same problem that started in 11.7 (edit: the problem would have been with the updater in 11.6 - auto update worked 5-6, but not 6-7). The process crashes the first time; when you re-launch and it tries again, it gives up with the message "File /Applicatio...
