in your data.lua you can do something like this data.raw["resource"]["copper-ore"].autoplace = { new autoplace stuff here }, data.raw["resource"]["iron-ore"].autoplace = { new autoplace stuff }, I tried it out and it worked like a charm, thank you Klonan! Not...

Yes I find it really strange too, since alot of my friends run about the the setup as I do, so yes, probably somthing very specific to my system/hardwere. I tried the x64 0.10.12 version and it worked! Both the installer and the zip package worked like a charm, so I guess it's something you changed ...

wow, quick answer! I have only tried the installer variants, but I will try the zip package once now.
I will write soon of how it went.

Edit: Tried the zip package too, but still the same problem :/ I edited the first post and wrote what versions i tried :P you were just too quick to answer!

Hello, the x64 version of factorio crashes instantly as i try to start the game, no loading screen or anything. The x86 version works fine, starts and runs as it should.
