Can confirm that we had that issue (32-64 desynch on alien attacks) was fine for the first few hours when aliens did not attack so frequently, but then it became a showstopper for us. We are now gonna wait for the next patch. I think (and hope) that they will focus on mp stability on that patch ...

Ok i solved it for me try this guys Go to the downloads page on factorio.com and the go expermental and download 32bit ver done works fine ........ !""£"£$%^£^&$

I was very much in the same boat playing with mates. Soooo frustrating.

To add further I have tried

disabling antivirus
cleaning up previous install including deleting /appData folder
changing diskdrive
disabling my second monitor
installing and launching as Admin.

but no cigarr

Hi guys I got the very same issue, anyone found a fix yet?

I regressed the version and the the game now starts as mentioned above.

I tried updating from the regressed version rather then fresh install but still experiencing the problem.
