Hi meems,
Consider that, being older alone does not mean knowing more.
It depends of what one has done in his years.
What have you done in your years?
Show us the games you developed.
And start showing respect and humility if you want to be taken more seriously.

Re: too lazy to explore
If you are going to cheat, just go with the "/win_the_game_now" command and then uninstall.Koub wrote:What's the difference between cheating with a command and using an abnormally powerful and unbalanced ingame item to do the same job ?
Just one's feel of guilt.
Such a power gamer you are.

Re: Inspirational early game builds
I don't like handcrafting science packs especially since building a proper green science facility is so easy. https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=202&t=48852 just 18 assembling machines and 12 labs. This build has 2 rows of filter inserters in the middle, but you can use 1 row of normal...

Re: Robot Battery Research
The current lack of such an upgrade force the spamming of robot ports to handle massive recharge operations when using massive numbers of bots. Robot battery capacity upgrade would indeed be quite interesting. However, the larger the battery capacity, the more joules should be used to charge it. Tog...

Re: so who's done a Death World?
I started with DeathWorld preset, without changing anythings. First, I used some strategically placed gray ammo turrets, Then I rushed to red/green/military science. With this now had upgrades turrets with upgraded red ammo, with huge damage and rof bonus. Then I walled a huge area. Two rows of wall...

The OP read as:
"I'm a carebear who refuse to admit it. I don't want to deal with biters, but I want to play with default settings to feel like the real deal. Therefore pollution is bad"

Re: Factorio 2 dev

The devs can now pick the best devs from around the world for F2 dev. Whats the plan? Take the best modders from th...

Re: [0.15.1] Server not showing up in Public Browser
I resolved the problem.
The path to the server setting file must be manually specified. It wasn't.
For example, start the server with:
bin/x64/factorio --server-settings ~/factorio/data/server-settings.json --start-server path_to_savefile.zip
