Re: Unable to download mods
Seems to be happening again. Switching over to 8.8.8.8 (Google) works. I wonder what is causing this to happen intermittently with this DNS, though? I haven't had any other problems with any other DNS calls with 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).

Re: [TOGos][16.0] Starting area has no water
I agree with Anti. The earlier the better. I'd rather cause minor glitches in a saves made within the first few days of an experimental release than have to wait for the next major patch (which will be 6-9 months away). How can you even progress 0.16 to "stable" eventually with these bugs present? I ...

Re: [16.0] Sideloading no longer compresses belt
How would you compress a belt in 0.16 then? This is the only way I've ever compressed a belt.

Re: [0.15.28] Headless server crash (Linux)
Appears that log file is exactly what spits out to stdout/stderr, and is exactly what is reported by systemd's journal. Well, plus a little more. But the original log has been rotated out already. So, attached is my systemd log of the whole session. I did remove the [CHAT] lines, though. Hope you ...

Re: [0.15.28] Headless server crash (Linux)
Is there some place that factorio has their own log file, besides just looking at my systemd log? Because that is the entirety of the event. Everything within the last few hours preceding it is chat messages and RCON connections. As this is a server, it's been operational for days (well, at least ...

Also, it appears the save got corrupted. I cannot start it back up. This is what happens:

[0.15.24] Constant Desync (with mods)
This only happens on a modded game, but it started with 0.15.24. Can't seem to last more than 5 minutes without desyncing. There doesn't seem to be any correlation to what I am doing. When another person is logged on, we desync both at the same time. Server is running Ubuntu Linux, I am running Arch ...

Oh, I saw that but assumed it was unrelated because of no trains.
To be clear, there were absolutely no vehicles involved. I haven't even researched them yet.

[0.15.8] Crash on multiplayer
I was playing on my headless server with no problems for a little bit, I had started a new map generated with 0.15.8 headless. When my friend logged on to help out, I started having game crashes. I have had two at the time of this posting. Both crashes were near the same spot (but not identical ...
