1 seed gives 50 fruits, 50 fruits give 1 seed. They should not get stuck.Barthoze wrote: Sat Nov 09, 2024 8:57 am [*]People using Assembly machines to process fruits should never get stuck because they lack seeds for the next harvest.

What you suggest is that spores were flying alll the way to the other side of your base and far beyound (and in particular, the shortest gradient path being through your base) β I would still mostly blame producing more than you could handle.
And knowing your base was in the way like this, why ...

i even made a special farmer spaceship that just hovers around gleba sending down astroid goodies nonstop (e.g. free unlimited iron ore):)
That's what I like about Gleba :) when we find things difficult we also find creative ways to solve them.
The reason though many people complain about it ...

I think spoilage is a great thing - I've already found in this very thread that people came up with totally different strategies to deal with it. This is good to see different successful approaches to the problem.

Re: Gleba is a problem
I think there should be some discouragement to choosing Gleba as the first planet. Newer players should get a red light somehow before they try doing so :)

Re: Increase Gleba seed production chance
I found this not a big issue - I first started mashing the fruits in the assemblers but noticed that I can only get as many seeds as required to replant at best. I have accidentally sent some of the seed into furnaces and my production crashed.

That's a good new mechanic, looking forward to optimize this
I can only hope Nauvis will also get a visual overhaul to put it on par with the new planets.

Re: [0.18.41] picking up new blueprint book crashes game
Confirmed on Windows. Game crashes when I drag new blueprint book outside of quickbar.
I can create new book and put it into quickbar and it is placed in inventory. Moving this new book out of inventory window also crashes the game.
Old (non-empty) books do not crash the game.

Biter biome looks great :) Iβm going to celebrate 1.0 release with a new game so your decision to not implement migration is a good one imo.
Iβm looking forward to nuke one of those new ugly bases (with a new and powerful nuclear explosion sound, I hope). π€―

I find it not appropriate to describe Dominik's departure in the way you did it.
How else should we handle it? I want to be as transparent and honest with you as I can be.
I'd make Dominik's departure a separate point in FF with simple "Dominik, who was working on the Character GUI and new ...
