That's a good new mechanic, looking forward to optimize this
I can only hope Nauvis will also get a visual overhaul to put it on par with the new planets.

Great! I especially appreciate you are focusing on fun and are not afraid to cut out features that complicate things for the sake of complication.

that it still won't be ready sooner than in a year from now. That's really not what I expected. Oh well, this on the other hand gives me time to finish nullius and try the new PY mods... I respect the amount of attention you put in and I am happy you want to give us a fully baked expansion for a fu...

Re: [0.18.41] picking up new blueprint book crashes game
Confirmed on Windows. Game crashes when I drag new blueprint book outside of quickbar.
I can create new book and put it into quickbar and it is placed in inventory. Moving this new book out of inventory window also crashes the game.
Old (non-empty) books do not crash the game.

Biter biome looks great :) Iβm going to celebrate 1.0 release with a new game so your decision to not implement migration is a good one imo. Iβm looking forward to nuke one of those new ugly bases (with a new and powerful nuclear explosion sound, I hope). π€― Iβd also agree the green is too healthy an...

wow, I've expected 1.0 to be a relatively boring update but both improvements of blueprint library and visuals of nuclear explosion are great! I'm looking forward to both. However, I hope the explosion sound from the attached movie is going to be replaced with something more impactful - I would expe...

I find it not appropriate to describe Dominik's departure in the way you did it. How else should we handle it? I want to be as transparent and honest with you as I can be. I'd make Dominik's departure a separate point in FF with simple "Dominik, who was working on the Character GUI and new flu...

I love Factorio, I love Wube and your FFs but I find it not appropriate to describe Dominik's departure in the way you did it. I trust your decisions, we all sometimes have to make hard choices but revealing too much detail is not always good. Regardless, good luck with the progress, can't wait to s...

hmm.. is "pipes-in-satisfactory-test" folder in one of screenshots some kind of CS-style trolling? Also, I'm REALLY surprised by your QNAP finding. I'm currently waiting for a new batch of NASes to show up in the market to replace my aging DIY Ubuntu based fileserver. I will probably not u...

I love the biter improvement, it always seemed so unnatural for them to do the mating dance before attacking
Can you improve the way they move through forests as well? It would be great and terrifying to see a big flow of biters coming out from woods!

So, how can we introduce new players to the tools to handle the multiple outputs of advanced processing while not needing to make changes to bots or flamethrower ammo or over simplfying the first refinery? Make basic only output heavy oil, and make cracking available with basic oil processing! This...

Good advice above, I would add also getting Mk2 armor for faster running (your base will get huge) and to have 50 construction bots (you'll rebuild a lot).
The console command to add it can be found in Factorio wiki.

I can not get borax. impossible to put the drill on the spot. why? You need a special miner for borax. you can find which one it is by hovering cursor over borax patch and pressing 'q' - it will put a ghost of the miner into your hand (if you've got this option enabled) what option are you talking ...
