That end game content really seems on the right track, although I believe it's still a bit lacking... it gives the impression that the engineer is some sort of scavenger, or freelancer or something. Maybe adding some sort of human threat, then?

I'd suggest the first tanks available be made kind of anachronistic, a little towards the steampunk. As research advances, more advanced versions could become available =D

I think waiting for multiplayer and endgame content before going on Steam is a good choice. It has its pros and cons but, since you're funded for now, it's probably going to work out. Well, timing is everything. If there's some sort of endgame content (maybe Albert can draw some stuff Homeworld style, remember that?) and a sandbox experience where people can tinker around freely, it might be a good idea to go as a final release. Aren't sprites 2D? Why do you need a 3D artist?

Let's not panic with slow computers here, people... a giant behemoth of a factory was bound to start causing problems, as much as redstone-intensive contraptions will in Minecraft. And we still have multiplayer to look forward to!
