Ya, i thought about that. It can be done, it's just space consuming, and hard to fit into an existing layout, which I found myself pretty far along (automating blue potions) when I had resource starvation issues.

I agree that some control over the ordering could be helpful.
Perhaps a simpler implementation is just something like shift-clicking on the item to build would put it at the front of the build queue, instead of at the end.
That way if you have 10 rockets in the queue or something and all you need ...

Splitter: Configure split ratio
I'd like to suggest that Splitter's have a configuration setting to control the ratio at which items are split.
Perhaps buttons to set the Splitter to - 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, etc.
I have several cases where I want to pull a portion of a commodity out off a belt, without starving downstream production ...

Could that me configurable?
Might be neat if you could configure a split ratio on the splitter itself, like 1:1, up to 1:10 or something.

FYI, if anyone else encounters this, the crash is resolved in the new v0.2.10

Crash when opening research
I have a single save-game that crashes when I attempt to open the research panel.
The game itself loads fine, I can continue building, and open building panels, including the lab panel. As soon as I hit 't', the game crashes.
Reverting to autosaves from the same "game" also crash.
Loading saves ...

This is my 1st post, I have to say I've been too engrossed in the alpha to spend much time here, hehe. Very well done game so far!
