Re: Friday Facts #316 - Map editor Lua snippets & Non-colliding Biters
Is there any way you can learn from StarCraft zerglings when it comes to pathfinding for biters? The way zerglings almost "flow" around the map in a rush is very beautiful and is done with full collision activated. I'm sure some developer from Blizzard has done some writeup/presentation/whatever ...

Re: Load Game as first menu entry
No.. This is just going to confuse people and give a false sense of what a "game" is.
If you last played a multiplayer map, would it connect to that again? (And fail if offline), or just keep playing on the local save file? Would the player understand what happened?
Should it load autosave or the ...

And good job Ernestas, very nice bit of visual feedback on the heat pipes. Useful, immersive and pretty.

[0.17.1] Moving sound settings sliders massively increases CPU Load (Windows Defender?)
Simply and a bit oddly. Pulling any slider in sound settings massively decreases FPS and if you keep doing it for a second or two the game freezes for a bit. It always returned to normal after a few seconds however.

Re: Friday Facts #277 - GUI progress update
I think there is a point in being able to replay the exact same scenario multiple times in order to improve your previous time, so maybe just make sure that you can manually enter the seed of map generation so you can perfect your strategy if you want. Then when you are bored of the same map, you ...

Re: Building a 1TW nuclear reactor
Can you even build squares bigger than 2x2? How do you supply the inner reactors with fuel (automatically)? With neighborhood bonuses, A perfect square would be the most efficient. A 71Γ71 setup would work, but I doubt the heat pipes can be extended far enough to dissipate all the generated heat

My god you guys... this looks amazing.
It's damn near GUI-porn... but don't let it get to your head just yet! You have to be consistent about GUI quality all the way to the end, but I have no doubt you will make it there in good shape =)

Ok so it looks like they ended up picking some sort of compromise?

EDIT: Ok it seems they chose to separate the $ and β¬ now

EDIT2: And this is why:

Technically us Europeans still overpay
