Re: Some more relief !!!

the first GTAs showed elevations just fine, and they were top-down. I'm not saying it's easy, but it seems feasible.
And DMA Design was the equivalent of modern-day indie devellopers.

Re: Version 0.2.10

The game's about robots. Robot's a czech word, so perhaps playing the czech version wouldn't undermine understanding :P

One day you'll have to show us your todo list so we can laugh at the absurd length of it.

Re: Hidden ores

Well my current factory has 4 lines of 12 ovens. 2 lines for iron, 2 lines for copper. Absolutely no problem feeding them with coal, altho I do have two coal lines.

Re: burner devices are kinda pointless

Also, if we want to be realistic, power could degrade somewhat the further away it is from the source. Yes, that would make burned versions of things a lot of use. Dibs on the first place in the queue in front of the burned laser turret shop... If you want to be realistic you also add transformers ...

It has been talked about in "more flexible inserters" FYI

The wiki/Le wiki.

We are inaugurating the french version of the wiki ! Unfortunately, there is limited contribution on the wiki, when the game contains a tons of things to be documented. I know I may be carried away by creating such a post on my own and not letting the mods do their business... Contributing is really...

Re: More Flexible Inserters

You could imagine that the arm of the inserter could only go down on certain limited axis, and not in a 360° row. I think it may be overpowered otherwise.

Re: More Flexible Inserters

You can do a right angle with two inserters pretty easily. It just takes up more room to do so.

Re: Wording about the engine's "performance"

Yes, but we want the power output, not the performance. When you drive a car, do you determin speed using the speedometer, or using the RPM measure ? of course you use the speedometer. Same thing. EDIT: To be more clear, when I read about a power plant, I don't care of the speed at which the turbine...

Re: Wording about the engine's "performance"

I didn't neither. But it's just not the right wording. That's a matter of fact and I pointed that out.
If there was plenty of typos in a text, you'd still understand it, but does that makes absolutely no difference on how the text feels ?

Re: A great Start

Depletion of smaller water body only then. If it also applies to the bigger ones it's highly unrealistic. The water cycle should refill large lakes easily.

Wording about the engine's "performance"

Maybe it has been thought of before but wouldn't "Energy Output" be more appropriate ?
Like: "Power Output" and "Max Output"
