Re: Friday Facts #388 - Smaller things for 2.0

Could we have a mode on lamps that would allow us to select three signals to use as R, G and B values? Basically: Use signal "inserter" for red value (clamped to 0-255) Use signal "pipe" for blue value (clamped to 0-255) etc. That way we can automate all the colors :) (it would b...

Re: Friday Facts #378 - Trains on another level

In the "array of stops" video, why does the train in the middle of the screen change color when it goes up the ramp? :)

Re: Friday Facts #374 - Smarter robots

Great improvements! One thing I'd love to see tackled is the classic problem of logistic robots delivering to player, but player leaves logistic area and all robots go back. Would it be possible that if the player goes back to the area, the robots turn around again with the item in them and deliver ...

Re: [1.1.34] Dragging a belt under robot makes underground belt

Hm, now when I've been trying to reproduce it, it didn't happen :( I'm certain there's some weird behavior for unknown reason, but I can't make it happen again. I wasn't recording at the time when it happened, but from what I remember: - I was in the range of that build (so it's not exactly as the l...

[1.1.34] Dragging a belt under robot makes underground belt

Hello, I have the "Smart Belt Dragging" under "Interface" options enabled. When I was dragging some belts around and had robots deliver more stuff, at some point it made underground belt directly under the robot (underground length of 1). There was nothing else on the tile. Happe...

Crash when offline

So, my internet wasn't working today, so I launched steam in offline mode to play some Factorio. However when the game loaded to main menu, I hovered over the play button and it didn't highlight. When clicked, the game stopped responding (windows "not responding" error, then "send to ...

Re: Friday Facts #249 - Dead end exploration

Option 4 is obviously the best here. However, are mods taken into consideration? What if I select a blueprint with modded items in vanilla game? How will this work?

TextDisplay - infinitely scaleable display

Hi, I created a simple, yet powerful display for displaying numbers and letters. TextDisplay.png In theory, it can hold 62 different symbols in memory. However, this version holds only 36, which is enough for numbers 0-9 and whole alphabet. You can also replace the memory only and have a completely ...

Pressing Q on water selects offshore pump

Hi, this is just a simple suggestion and does not need more explanation than the title itself. Basically works the same way as pressing Q on ores. I know you do not use offshore pumps very often, but I got so much used to that Q on ores, that this seems like next logical step to me.
