Description: When I paste my user name into the name field in the name/password prompt for updating, Factorio crashes and says to report the bug here.

I have a mac. The results from .11.5 are:
1) Doesn't work under wine/winebottler.
- Black screen, menus don't draw backgrounds, etc.
2) Works under Parallels running the free win7 from https://www.modern.ie.
- Although it takes a little longer loading.

The error message occurs using Factorio 0.10.12 on Windows 8.1 as well. The cause is not enough video memory (either video or random-access). To fix, either give your machine more memory or reduce factorio's usage by setting low-graphics to true in C:\Users\IEUser\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\config

Weird; it's working OK in 10.2 here. It might be an input thing, rail direction is controlled by the mouse and not by whatever direction you happen to be driving the train.

It works like a charm! I like hopping the train and riding the rails to see where I end up, far far away. I can't drive there because my car can't get through the forests, so it's a great way to sightsee.

A definite possibility. Say I wanted to change the colours of the dark ground and the normal ground - would I have to change the images themselves, or are their map colours specified in a config file somewhere?

If it's impossible to give entities custom colours, is it possible to change the colour of an entire colour? I'd love to be able to see forests on my map, but I can only make them out on desert tiles. It would be really nice to be able to set them to a lighter shade of green.
