I appreciate your help. However, I still can't seem to make steel plates :cry:

I'm brand new but seems like on the assembly machines I should be able to choose the recipe for steel plates?? But it is red and un-selectable.

My stone furnaces will only spit out iron plate and copper plates? I am ...

I cannot figure out how to make steel plates. I am on Tight Spot level 3.

Wiki says steel plates are made from iron plates BUT i need to research steel processing at a Lab. However, I cannot figure out how to build a lab, I do not have one in my inventory and I don't see one in the market.
