Adding a Virtual Logistics Network

Hey Guys,

I want to add a virtual logistics network, so it shows up in the logistics GUI. Does anyone know if the API currently permits this? I see the places to access defined networks, but it's not clear whether I should be able to inject my network in there.

Great to hear, although describing my connection as "poor" is pushing it. I don't regard a 100Mbps connection as "poor".

Was playing on the 60K servers, and getting repeated desyncs on two new servers for no apparent reason. Ok, well if the /save command is bound to the name of the file it loaded, then I'll assume for now that I did load from the autosave. I always start the server with load-from-latest, so it's quite likely.

Let's call this not a bug then :)

If it's just 2 lanes, the process is very simple ... split from one lane, then put a splitter on both lanes to rebalance the remaining output.

I have yet to see anyone make one here that is reliable and doesn't kill your throughput. The top lane was clearly stutter stepping when you removed the inserters. The fundamental issue is how the signals pulse for items on belts in hold mode.. they stutter step between 6 and 8 even for a fully comp...

This mini-depot is limited in functionality (no requester stations, among other things), but it's perfectly fine for running oil. You could also use it to transport other goods (e.g. a high priority train line to take coal to the power plant), but probably oil is the best way to use it. Will defini...

Is there an easy way to convert this to a green network? I'm using the "new" version linked in the post, and I'm now at the situation where I'd like a second train network, and linking it to green seemed like the logical choice.. I don't really understand how it's all setup under the hood ...

Bob's Adjustable Inserter integration would be great. With the introduction of this mod, having only one type of inserter for each speed, and being able to adjust the pickup, drop-off, and belt offset is absolutely amazing and makes the whole process so much easier.
