And here it comes. I've drawn "Factorio ellipse" a bit more flattened on these screenshots to make effect more pronounced. Here you can see that left and right extremes have much more precision with respect to top and bottom if we step on uniform angle.

Re: Floating-point inaccuracies permeate the game.
Huh, I'm surprised to see this, I never noticed! I guess I expected that this problem would be magic-ed away somewhere in the background.
I'm not sure if the post author is making this assumption, but: integer division isn't necessarily faster than floating point division. Actually, I think it's ...

Re: I kinda hate Vulcanus
Fulgora executes the limited space much better because the terrain is visually clear and you don't get random spots of oil ocean in the middle of your islands.
You do, actually. They're less common, but there will sometimes be a random tiny patch of oil someplace I'm not expecting. And (IMO ...

Re: Friday Facts #442 - Flip, Flow, and Fresh Paint
Thankfully, I went the route of just recycling heaps of stuff on Fulgora through recyclers with quality modules to get my quality base materials. I'd be PISSED if I had built a space casino and it'd all just need to get deconstructed.

Bump because yes. I was baffled when I first found out you couldn't do this. Why are Spidertron's name-able if you can't control+F for them?

Re: Friday Facts #441 - Space logistics improvements
Great improvements.
However a few more things would really make things a ton better.
1) Please add combinators with multiple if then else conditions that can be controlled explicitly instead of toggling and auto grouping into "and" and "or" conditions the way it is now. Then add value to output ...

It was unavoidable! A great artist shouldn't add touch-ups for eternity. Wube has set the brush down! I really cannot wait to see what they do next...

Re: Parametrized Blueprint variables - parameter stack size
Yes please I would love it if there was a button to add a 'dummy' parameter or variable that I could set while placing the print.
However, I somehow managed to do this before: (This sets a limit on the output inserter based on the amount of item in the logistics network)

Re: [MOD 1.0.x|0.18.x] fCPU
I was reminded of this mod and checked the mod page, and I noticed a huge addition! The subprograms are awesome! And I'm reminded how well it all fits into the vanilla game. It'll take me a while to get reacquainted with fCPU, but I feel like I have to for such a cool mod :) but I never feel like I ...
