As far as I can tell, this bug is only cosmetic? The field will turn red and complain about unknown variables but in my testing the formulas still work if they are actually valid.

There is the Enter Button, but that's hardcoded, I guess?

This might actually be a bug report, but one mildly annoying thing is when typing in a value for something, I will instinctively press E to confirm the value, which does not work as "e" will get typed into the field.

It would be nice if Ctrl + E also worked to confirm, or at least only during text ...
