Re: Fish Breeding Productivity Research
This is an incredibly detailed breakdown. I totally get what you’re saying about balancing productivity in Fish Breeding. I’ve messed around with biochamber loops myself, and even a small boost in productivity can spiral quickly if it’s not gated behind high-level research. Your point about keeping ...

Re: Discussion on Robot Pathing
Really cool breakdown. The “linked-list” roboport idea makes a lot of sense. Bots just fly straight now, so having roboports handle routing could fix the concave layout issue. Main challenge would be extra complexity (like congestion handling), but in theory it could save CPU and make bot paths way ...

Re: If you could land on the Shattered Planet, what would it be like?
I imagine the terrain would be super unstable, with floating landmasses and fractured biomes that force you to rethink base building (maybe even modular or mobile bases to survive quakes). The tech unlocks could lean into exotic materials, like rare alloys that boost power efficiency, or advanced ...

Re: Japan is developing real life railguns
I’ve only ever thought of railguns as sci-fi or video game stuff, so seeing Japan actually developing one feels surreal. The idea of using them against hypersonic missiles is both mind-blowing and a little scary. Curious to see how far they can push the tech in terms of range and power supply.
