There should be a way to configure platform wait conditions based on logistics group.
This would allow platforms to leave a planet's orbit if specific items are or are not fulfilled

Would it be possible to add a tab to the mod portal between Name and Version that sorts by Author? I feel this could be beneficial when trying to find and download all of the modules for a mod by a specific author.

If it's possible you could add an invisible assembler that crafts a dummy ammo so that your input is a fluid and the dummy ammo is what is outputted and consumed by the turret.

I created a snippet of code you can add to bobplates_x.xx.xx/prototypes/recipe/plates-recipe.lua or to 5dim_ores_x.x.x/prototypes/tin-ore.lua that will enable you to convert from 5dim's plates to Bob's Plates using a smelter.
