All those BS qualities need to go away. The ag tower at least gets more health, ok boomer. But something like quality seeds are just useless, and if anything only make you handle it before it clogs your system, by e.g. explicitly request them somewhere. Is it the task of the player, to work around ...

I can't follow the technical details here. But can this also explain, why my spidertron is missing some equipment after placing it post space journey?
I did:
1. Build a spidertron on Nauvis 2. Fill its grid with equipment 3. Pick it up and place in rocket 4. Send to platform 5. Fly to Gleba 6 ...

As fruits can spoil, it is absolutely necessary to use productivity to reduce the chance to run your seed bank dry. Else the trees only sustain themselves statistically without any spoilage.

Ok, seems like a false alarm, or at least I cannot reproduce it myself when I was looking for a suitable save file. I guess I left Gleba for so long, that the spoilage to nutrients processing, which reduces spoilage 10:1, managed to clean all the belts with energy by a handful ...

I'm not sure what happened to induce this, but after hours of my Gleba base being idle with spoilage filling everything due to missing energy (as far as I can tell from remote view), I gathered all my courage and return to fix this mess.

Oh, this might also explain my missing building materials from manual sends. Loaded 20 underground belts and 5 splitters, and later checking (after sending a bunch of other mixed loads) there where only 14 underground and no splitters. So annoying.

Ah, I thought things were supposed to build instantly (as long as there was platform below them) so that this wouldn't be a problem, but that seems to not be the case. Thanks.
Also happens with modules, so they make a third layer: first the platform, then the building, then the modules inserted ...
