Yeah but it is supper easy to do and give no challenges.
I'm not saying the other turrets should be better, i just think that allowing more options is neat for gameplay.
Even with better turrets players will still use alot of laser because they are more convient to use.
only the harder to defend

Same goes for normal weapons right? I think they will come eventually. as for the balance i think we can all agree the laser turrets are currently far superior to the ammo turrets and artillery is very late game. Even with the higher damage output the laser turrets have superior range and don't need...

I was wondering if it was planned that all ammo types would get their respective turret like the flamethrower got? a shotgun turret a rocket launcher turret a cannon turret right now the laser turret seems to be the best effective turret and the usual ammo turret is hardly rewarding. It would be cool to have some tech wich could make vehicles act like buffer chests so they can request and use items for construction. Would be even more awsome if they have their own roboport with a slot for some construction robots. This could give players a more early way to use construction bots...

Okay i don't know if it has been suggested before, but would it not be nice to have a tank or car wich can toggle to stick to rails and toggle to go offroad?
with this you can easily go to large distances using the existing railway but also go offroad and construct new bases.

Preferably on the steam workshop. It would be a nice idea to have people create their own (multiplayer?)campaigns and stories and can then share them on steam workshop. I really loved the main campaign in the game but im really sad that it did not got more of the stuff. If players could make it them...

Apparently vehicles move on transport belts also. I had thought they didn't. It will probably already be suggested but there have to be some new lines made in the map generation. It is now almost impossible to start in a hard map (not much resources) without spawning somewhere where all the basic resources are very far away from each other making it almost impossible to star...

Very clever i must admit, however the suggestion is mostly used for mid game problems when you are starting out. Your plan requires electric engines wich you will produce once the black outs will no longer be a real problem
