My answer might be a bit late, but I am able to confirm that in the data phase mod sandboxes are shared. aai-containers seems to use in prototypes/combined/containers.lua the table.deepcopy() function (L. 325). I have not found a definition for it in this mod but I found one in core ...

Hey there,
I got a crash twice while playing Factorio SpaceAge. I am playing as Host in multiplayer and were able to run the game. After a few seconds my game crashed. The log is attached.
