It simply doesn't work. Just crashes whenever I launch.

You're supposed to just make a bat file in the directory but it has not been working for me and I wanna smash my computer.

I setup a dedicated server awhile ago and it was real easy and straightforward. I just made a separate directory, I made the bat file:
start factorio.exe --start-server dedserv1.zip

The bat file is in the same directory as factorio.exe

I can't find any guides that tell me to do anything different ...
