My thoughts on this are actually conflicted, because as of now the - undefined, based on what it looks like when you do this - behavior is that you can either unlock a tech via the trigger or the research, and this creates a cool opportunity to make the tech hard, or you can do an optional challenge ...

This is a copy of the Team 13 LAN server save that we continued to play. UPS usually drops to around 50 when the interstellar ship is mid-transit on my PC

Inserters set to spoiled first ignore items at the end of the belt

Ive placed bricks on this belt manually so that the "end" of the belt is offset. This is so the inserters on each side of the belt will actually grab at the end of the belt, they have been ignoring Pentapod eggs at the real end, despite being set to sort for spoiled first

I was emptying my tank via bots AND inserters, it would seem if you remove an item via inserter when it is marked for removal, it leaves marks behind on the slot

The Agricultural Tower's arm has a clear line between it and the machine support, shown by the fog of the planet not covering the top and covering the bottom

Okay I misdiagnosed the problem, it appears to not be related to the boom puffs, and also disappears when moving around, not sure whats causing it

One of the Boompuff Plants on Gleba has a blue line that appears only at certain zoom levels. This is in version 2.0.8

This still exists in [1.1.109], and I'm making this addition for documentations' sake. I ran into the same issue when using pictures for my items, and the issue goes away when disabling "item shadows" in the graphics settings. Good luck on Factorio: SA development devs!
