[2.0.69] Gleba Enemies Fail to Expand Bases

I love Gleba so I spend quite a lot of time there expanding, building, interacting with the wildlife. Eventually I brought artillery to answer the Pentapod question with tungston fury, but after blasting the five-legged friends into fertiliser I found that the Spore cloud was ...

Deathworld has lost its Fangs. Factorio needs its own NIGHTMARE mode
TL;DR
With 2.0 and Space Age, Deathworld no longer lives up to its name. Factorio needs some real pressure from hostile entities and it needs them as a pre-set.
What?
I've done a couple of Deathworld runs on Factorio and am left unsatisfied with the threat. Deathworld only affects Nauvis and ...

Re: Friday Facts #388 - Smaller things for 2.0
Often times you want to set some constant number, like "I want 7.5 stacks here", and doing the calculation MANUALLY is of course unacceptable.
It is your first time playing Factorio, you have just unlocked a new item, let's say cliff explosives. You want to create five stacks of them to play ...

Re: Friday Facts #382 - Logistic groups
Weight is a solution for the rocket launches, but an uncomfortable one from what I see here. A whole mechanic for one action but otherwise ignored? It rips away at immersion because we accept that Factorio engineer is doing unfeasible things as long as we don't have to further scrutinize it.
